Basic Job Description:
>Selects and administers assessment and evaluation instruments to determine clients' capabilities and disabilities
>Consults with other professionals regarding clients' physical and/or mental disabilities
>Obtains specialized medical/social history
>Analyzes results and prepares reports of findings, diagnostic impressions, diagnoses and recommendations
>Participates as part of multidisciplinary team in presenting assessment results and developing treatment plans
>Determines treatment goals and integrates with other treatment services
>Evaluates various developmental, therapeutic and rehabilitation procedures and considers clients' pre-existing medical conditions when developing individual programs
>Provides or instructs others to provide treatment to clients
>Conducts or supervises individual and group therapy
>Evaluates clients' progress and adjusts treatment plans
>Prescribes and develops adaptive materials and equipment to facilitate treatment goals
>Documents treatment and prepares reports
>Evaluates client's need for further treatment
>Consults with physicians and other professionals regarding clients' treatment
>Provides consultation and instruction in occupational therapy techniques to staff and service providers
>Supervises paraprofessional staff
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensure as an occupational therapist in Idaho in accordance with Idaho Code 54-3703. Licensure or a limited permit must be obtained prior to appointment.

We currently have an opening for a Director, Clinical Rehabilitation in our Vision Rehabilitation Department.
Reporting to the VP of Clinical Services, the Director will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative leadership. In addition the Director will coordinate, schedule, implement, maintain, and evaluate all rehabilitation employees including: Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialists (COMS); Certified Vision Rehabilitation Therapists (CVRT); Occupational Therapists (OTs); and Vision Rehabilitation Assistants (VRA). The Director will also be responsible for setting patient care standards, participating in quality assessment and improvement program, budget planning and obtaining resources to enhance the quality of patient care.
The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree and certification as an Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years experience in rehab services and 5 years managerial experience.
